You can serve this warm right from the crock pot. You can spice it up or keep it mild, depending of the type of salsa you use.
I found this recipe by Barb Guttormsson in the December 29, 1993 Mascot paper.
- 1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
In a crock pot on low heat, add hamburger; 1/2 pound colby cheese, 1/2 pound Velveeta cheese and one (12 oz.) jar salsa.
Serve with tortilla chips for scooping up the dip.
(This could be cooked in the microwave too.)
