Thank you to all of those who came to the blood drive on Wednesday, June 7 at the American Legion.
We collected 42 units of blood on a goal of 51. We appreciate everyone who took the time out of their busy day to give the life saving gift of blood. We want to thank the following for helping to make the blood drive a success: Minneota American Legion for donating the site; Rotary for paying for the meals for the Red Cross workers and volunteers; St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Hemnes Lutheran Church for providing the cookies, crackers, and cheese for the donors; Alice Bot, Marian Laleman and Darlene Josephson for calling the donors; Loralee Miller, Judy Hagen, Becky Engels and Margrit Rabaey for volunteering in the canteen; Julie Kack, Gayle VanVooren, Terry Van Keulen and Susan Askdahl for being volunteer greeters.
With everyone working together, we had another successful blood drive.
