Minnesotans who qualify for Medicaid or MinnesotaCare can enroll year round. Open enrollment deadlines do not apply to these programs.
It is important to note that MNsure enrollees must pay their first month's premium on time for their coverage to begin.
The 2018 open enrollment period is November 1, 2017 to January 14, 2018.
Ninety-six percent of Minnesotans have health coverage--the highest percentage in state history.
