Ask Nolan Boerboom how golfing has been this spring.
He’ll tell you it’s been tough because the season has been decimated by bad weather.
As a result, “We haven’t been able to get on the course much to practice. I didn’t practice all last week,” he said.
As a result, the Camden Conference Meet rolled around Monday at Marshall’s Golf Course after a very abbreviated regular season.
“Even this course had some we spots on it today," said Boerboom.
However, he did manage to shoot an 84 and capture all-conference honors as Community Christian School of Willmar captured the team title and Minneota finished fourth.
Also making the all-conference team was Cole Myhre with an 88,
Harrison Patzer of Lac qui Parle Valley shot a 73 to win medalist honors.
Braxton Downing shot a 98, Mitchell Rost a 99 for Minneota.
